Kofi Busia’s workshops will explore how to lead a wise and fulfilled life through Yoga as a both a physical and a spiritual darshana (Sanskrit for “sight” or “system”). Through the development of mental focus and understanding, we tap into both the practical and esoteric teachings of yoga that can dramatically improve the way we feel and think. Come for a transformative experience of Yoga that is sure to include challenging asana sequences, storytelling, and masterful attention and correction to student’s postures, all of which can revolutionize our relationship to our bodies and our practice. This workshop is for all levels of students.

 

Bio: Kofi Busia is one of the world's foremost teachers in the Iyengar tradition. He has been teaching for over 35 years, has held his Advanced Certificate for over 33 years, and has taught all over the world. He began yoga as a student at Oxford and has taught professionally ever since. Throughout the 1970's and up until the mid-1980's, he studied regularly with BKS Iyengar, and directly from him on a regular basis at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, Maharashtra, South India.

 

Cancellation Policy - Full pre-payment at the time of enrollment is required to reserve a space in workshops. Refunds or cancellations are available up to two weeks prior to date of workshop.  No refunds, no credit given less than two weeks prior to workshop. If ISHTA yoga cancels the workshop, a full credit or refund will be issued. ISHTA yoga reserves the right to amend this policy at its discretion on a case-by-case basis.
