Alan Finger and Katrina Repka's new book is in stores now! (Or buy here!)
This is the story of a year Katrina Repka spent in New York, studying with Yoga Master Alan Finger. It turned out to be such a life-changing experience for her that she asked Alan if she could write a book about it; she wanted to share with others what she had learned from him and help them to make the same kind of important discoveries about themselves that she did.
The book is written as a series of conversations on different topics and at the end of each chapter there is a breathing exercise, selected by Alan from his immense storehouse of yogic knowledge and reinterpreted for a modern audience. The exercises in the book will, over time, help create space in body and mind, and release the imprisoned self.
Breathing Space has been featured in Elle, Yoga Journal, Body and Soul, and Fit Yoga.

Recently Opened: ISHTA Yoga
'According to Ancient Indian yogis, our natural state isn't sleepwalking through the day in a caffeinated haze, but in the tantric place of liberation and bliss. Who knew?! The teachers at ISHTA, which stands for Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda, conduct meditation classes that aim to tap into your brain to make you feel as though you've spent double the time in dreamland. Watchful teachers tailor their instructions around each individual's emotional state and anatomy, and there's a resident guru on site to guide you through your transformation.'

What We Loved
Our beginner class was similar to regular yoga, yet we felt refreshingly more focused; we didn't run through our to do list or leave feeling exhausted.
