For their fifth annual yoga retreat, Cassandra and Aino return to the stunning Holbox island, Mexico for a weeklong getaway. The island is part of an ecological reserve In the Yucatan Peninsula, separated from the mainland by a shallow lagoon that is home to flamingos, pelicans and other rich birdlife. Holbox is a Mayan name that translates to ‘black hole’; a place where time and space seem to disappear. That is the effect the island has on its visitors; deeply relaxing the mind, body and soul.
